SKETCHING PEOPLE WITH FOUNTAIN PEN
SUNDAY, AUGUST 25, 1–4 PM
Our fountain pen sketching classes with Emmett Catedral have been so popular that we’ve come up with a new one! In this workshop, you’ll practice the basic techniques for sketching people and drawing portraits using a fountain pen and water brush. The class will cover the essentials of drawing with ink: laying down direct, expressive lines and using a water brush to add depth and color. Using this technique, you’ll make quick figure impressions and learn a few things about making more detailed portraits.
